Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe’re working with an international technology-led group to appoint an IT Security Manager to support and develop its Group-wide cyber security, governance, risk and compliance strategy across Europe.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll help shape security standards, strengthen cyber resilience and build a strong security-first culture across a growing organisation.
The role
You’ll work closely with senior IT leadership to:
*Develop and implement Group-wide IT & Cyber Security strategy
*Own security policies, governance frameworks and risk registers
*Lead cyber risk assessments, remediation and incident response
*Oversee external security partners and supplier security audits
*Lead annual penetration testing and security awareness programmes
*Support Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 and similar frameworks
*Improve security monitoring, logging and SIEM capabilities
*Support business continuity, disaster recovery and acquisition due diligence
*Produce clear security reporting for IT and business leadership
The technology
You’ll work across a modern security environment including:
Microsoft Azure, Intune, Okta, Zscaler, SentinelOne, Mimecast, Tenable, KnowBe4, SD-WAN, SIEM
About you
We’re looking for an experienced IT/cyber security professional with a strong background in security governance, risk and compliance, ideally within a multi-site or international environment.
You’ll bring:
*Experience developing IT security policies and governance frameworks
*Strong Azure security and cloud governance knowledge
*Experience with Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 or similar
*Practical knowledge of security technologies and SIEM platforms
*Cyber security risk and incident management experience
*Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
*A commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused approach
*Willingness to travel within Europe when required
