Adele Carr Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established and expanding accountancy firm.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Accountant, you’ll manage a varied portfolio of clients, predominantly owner-managed businesses, providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.

*Preparing corporation tax and personal tax computations.

*Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.

*Providing accounting and tax planning advice to owner-managed businesses.

*Identifying opportunities to improve clients’ accounting processes and financial reporting.

*Working closely with managers and directors on client assignments.

*Reviewing work prepared by junior accountants.

*Mentoring and supporting trainees in their professional development.

RequirementsTo be considered for this Senior Accountant position, you’ll ideally have:
*ACA or ACCA qualification.

*Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice.

*Strong experience preparing statutory accounts and tax computations.

*Experience working with owner-managed businesses.

*Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

*The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.

*Experience supervising or mentoring junior accountants.

*Knowledge of CCH would be advantageous but is not essential.

You’ll be commercially aware, confident dealing directly with clients and keen to develop your advisory experience.
