Full job descriptionWe are seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join a highly regarded Leeds team within a global law firm. You will work on a broad range of high value corporate transactions, with a strong focus on M&A and opportunities to gain international and cross border exposure.

Description
The Corporate Solicitor will be:


*Advising public and private companies on a broad range of corporate matters
*Working on mergers and acquisitions from initial instruction through to completion
*Advising on acquisitions, disposals and investments
*Supporting private equity transactions and strategic investments
*Advising on equity capital markets transactions where appropriate
*Working on corporate reorganisations and other strategic projects
*Managing transactions and coordinating input from internal teams and external advisers
*Building strong relationships with clients and developing an understanding of their commercial objectives
*Working collaboratively with colleagues across the UK and international offices


Profile
The Corporate Solicitor should be:


*A solicitor with around 2 to 8 years PQE
*Experienced in a broad range of corporate transactions, particularly M&A
*Confident advising clients on complex and commercially important matters
*Comfortable managing transactions with appropriate levels of supervision
*Commercially minded with strong drafting and negotiation skills
*Able to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
*keen to develop within an international law firm
*Experienced in private equity or cross border transactions would be advantageous, but is not essential


Job Offer
*A salary ranging from £83,000 to £100,000
