Finance Analyst (6-Month FTC)Heathrow Area | Office-Based (5 Days Per Week)
£45,000 - £50,000 Pro RataA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Finance Analyst to join a well-established business on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a newly created role that offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the chance to contribute to key strategic and commercial initiatives.
Reporting into the FP&A Manager, you will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, business case evaluation and performance analysis. This position is ideally suited to a finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders, driving improvements and using data to influence decision-making.
The RoleKey responsibilities will include:
*Delivering weekly and monthly volume, revenue and performance forecasting
*Supporting annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes
*Reviewing Capex and Opex business cases and tracking realised benefits
*Analysing financial and operational performance against budget and forecast
*Identifying trends, risks and opportunities to support commercial decision-making
*Monitoring cost-saving and revenue-generating initiatives across the business
*Producing headcount and workforce planning models
*Partnering with procurement and operational teams to assess commercial impacts
*Supporting cashflow forecasting and scenario analysis
*Improving financial processes, controls and reporting capabilities
*Assisting senior finance leadership on ad hoc strategic projects
About You*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or a strong finalist
*Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, FP&A or Commercial Finance role
*Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
*Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
*Excellent communication and presentation skills
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
*Experience with Power BI, Power Query or finance systems would be advantageous
*Keen interest in systems, automation and process improvement
