Full job descriptionWe are working with an established dental laboratory in Birmingham that is looking to recruit an experienced Dental Technician with a strong background in Chrome / Cobalt Chrome work.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive laboratory with a good reputation for producing high-quality dental restorations.
The RoleThe successful candidate will have experience within the Chrome / Cobalt Chrome department and be confident working independently while maintaining a consistently high standard of work.
Your responsibilities may include:
*Cobalt chrome framework production
*Designing and finishing chrome frameworks
*Partial denture frameworks
*Model preparation and surveying
*Finishing, fitting and quality control
*Working closely with the wider prosthetics team
*Ensuring cases are completed accurately and within agreed turnaround times
About YouWe are looking for someone who:
*Has previous dental laboratory experience within Chrome / Cobalt Chrome
*Produces accurate, high-quality work
*Has a good understanding of removable prosthetics
*Has excellent attention to detail
*Can manage their workload effectively
*Works well as part of a laboratory team
Experience with digital chrome workflows, CAD design or 3D printing would also be advantageous, although this is not essential.
