Full job descriptionKey Responsibilities:
*Support Compliance Activities - Building LEV (local exhaust ventilation), fire safety, legionella - assessing current stage and driving what needs to support continuous development. Problem analysis and solutions.
*Review heating systems, chilled water systems, driving remedial actions through to completion.
*Support project planning activities as needed
*Asset replacement schedule - support a move to proactive maintenance.
*Supporting process and procedure capability development.
*Contractor/Vendor Management
*Management of work permits for high-risk work.


Key Candidate Requirements:
*Experienced Hard Services Manager - "been there done that".
*Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems commonly found in complex/advanced manufacturing facilities. Relevant qualifications would be desirable. For example, CIBSE.
*R&D or Advanced Manufacturing Building experience.
*Facilities & Building Maintenance background.
*Record keeping experience
*Demonstratable experience issuing contractor permits for high-risk activities. E.g work at height.
*Good communication & stakeholder management skills
