What you’ll be doing
*Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the depot.
*Managing and supporting a team of drivers and operational staff.
*Coordinating workloads, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient service delivery.
*Maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive working environment.
*Building strong relationships with customers and resolving any issues that arise.
*Monitoring operational performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
*Managing costs and helping the depot achieve its performance targets.
*Ensuring high standards of service, teamwork, and communication across the site.
What we’re looking for
*Previous experience in a Depot Manager, Transport Manager, or similar operational leadership role.
*Strong knowledge of transport legislation, Operator Licence compliance, and driver hours regulations.
*Proven leadership experience managing drivers and operational teams.
*Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
*Experience managing budgets and achieving operational KPIs.
*CPC qualification desirable.
