Full job descriptionAn established accountancy practice is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join its growing team.
The role offers responsibility for a varied portfolio of HNW individuals, trusts, estates and business owners, alongside exposure to more complex advisory and tax planning work.
The OpportunityYou’ll take ownership of a portfolio of private clients, acting as a trusted adviser and working closely with Partners and Directors on more complex matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Managing a portfolio of HNW and private clients
*Acting as a key point of contact for individuals, trustees and professional advisers
*Overseeing personal tax, trust and estate compliance
*Advising across areas including IHT, CGT, income tax and trusts
*Identifying tax planning and advisory opportunities
*Supporting complex trust, estate and succession planning projects
*Dealing with HMRC correspondence and enquiries where required
*Reviewing work and providing technical guidance to the wider team
*Supporting and developing junior members of the team
*Building strong, long-term client relationships and contributing to the growth of the portfolio
What We’re Looking For*CTA qualified, or ACA/ACCA qualified with significant personal tax experience
*Strong UK practice background
*Proven experience managing a private client portfolio
*Strong technical knowledge across personal tax, trusts and estates
*Experience working with HNW/UHNW individuals
*Good exposure to IHT, CGT and trust-related matters
*Previous team leadership or mentoring experience
*Strong communication and client relationship skills
*A commercial and proactive approach to client service
