Permanent, full-time position based in Beeston, Nottingham.
This is a busy operational role suited to someone with strong transport planning experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced traffic environment, coordinating workloads and delivering excellent service to customers.

Key Responsibilities
*Plan and coordinate daily transport movements and workloads.
*Manage schedules and respond quickly to changing operational requirements.
*Liaise with drivers, customers and internal teams throughout the day.
*Ensure transport activity is organised efficiently and meets customer deadlines.
*Maintain accurate transport records and update relevant systems.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
*Resolve operational issues and delays effectively.
*Ensure activity is completed in line with transport legislation and company procedures.
*Support the wider transport team in maintaining high service levels.
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience within transport planning, traffic operations or transport coordination.
*Good understanding of transport legislation.
*Experience working within a busy transport or logistics environment.
*Strong telephone manner and customer service skills.
*Excellent organisation and ability to work to strict deadlines.
*Confident working independently and using initiative.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Good IT skills and experience using transport systems would be advantageous.
*Commercial awareness and previous sales experience would be beneficial.
*Reliable, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
