Working arrangement: Full-time, 100% office-based
A well-established firm of solicitors specialising in housing disrepair claims is seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join its Bolton office. You will manage your own caseload and help deliver a responsive, professional service to clients throughout the claims process.
The role*Manage housing disrepair matters from initial instruction through to settlement or conclusion of litigation.
*Assess the merits of claims, gather evidence and advise clients on their options.
*Draft letters of claim, pleadings, witness statements and other legal documents.
*Instruct experts and liaise with housing providers, counsel and opposing solicitors.
*Negotiate settlements and conduct litigated matters where appropriate.
*Keep clients updated, maintain accurate files and meet court and procedural deadlines.
About youYou will be a qualified Solicitor with experience handling housing disrepair claims. You should be confident running your own caseload, have strong drafting and negotiation skills, and be able to combine sound legal judgement with clear, empathetic client communication.
This position is 100% office-based in Bolton. The firm is looking for someone who enjoys working closely with colleagues in a specialist, established team.
