A well-established firm of solicitors specialising in housing disrepair claims is looking for an experienced Fee Earner to join its Bolton team. This is an opportunity to manage a caseload within a specialist practice and work alongside colleagues with extensive experience in this area.
The roleYou will manage housing disrepair claims from initial instruction through to resolution, keeping clients informed and progressing matters efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
*Assessing new enquiries and reviewing the merits of potential claims.
*Taking instructions, gathering evidence and obtaining relevant records and reports.
*Drafting letters of claim and other case correspondence.
*Liaising with clients, housing providers, experts and opposing solicitors.
*Negotiating settlements and progressing matters through litigation where required.
*Maintaining accurate files and meeting procedural deadlines.
About youYou will have experience handling housing disrepair claims and a sound understanding of the claims process. You should be confident managing your own caseload, communicating with clients and producing clear, accurate written work. Experience of both pre-litigation and litigated matters would be advantageous.
The firm will consider candidates with relevant fee earning experience, whether qualified or non-qualified.
This is a 100% onsite role based in Bolton, so applicants must be comfortable working from the office full-time.
