The OpportunityTime Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker on behalf of a client working on a civil engineering project in Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy site for a minimum of 5 weeks, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities*Carrying out all aspects of groundworks on a live construction site
*Installing drainage systems and associated pipework
*Stoning, grading and preparing sub-base materials
*Completing concreting and finishing works
*Assisting with excavation and reinstatement works
*Working safely and efficiently as part of the site team
*Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
*Proven experience in groundworks on construction or civil engineering projects
*Experience with drainage installation
*Knowledge of stoning and sub-base preparation
*Experience carrying out concreting works
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
*A civil engineering or heavy civils background would be highly advantageous
*Valid CSCS Card (preferred)
