The Senior Fire Engineer’s RoleThe successful Senior Fire Engineer will provide fire engineering expertise across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, supporting projects from early design through to completion.
Typical responsibilities will include:
*Developing fire strategies and fire engineering solutions

*Reviewing architectural and design information

*Supporting compliance with Building Regulations and relevant guidance

*Undertaking technical reviews and fire safety assessments

*Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and approving authorities

*Supporting and mentoring junior fire engineers

*Contributing to the continued growth of the consultancy

The Senior Fire EngineerThe successful Senior Fire Engineer will ideally have:
*A degree in Fire Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline

*Strong experience within a fire engineering consultancy environment

*Good knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, Building Regulations and industry guidance

*Experience producing fire strategies and technical reports

*Excellent client-facing and communication skills

*Progress towards, or achievement of, professional membership or Chartered status with a relevant body
