Full job descriptionI am recruiting for a local authority who are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide financial advice and challenge to senior managers and budget holders. The role will be for 6-12 months and is paying up to £500 p/day.

Key responsibilities:
*Business partner with senior stakeholders and service leads.
*Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly management accounts.
*Provide financial analysis, modelling and commercial insight.
*Monitor budgets, variances, risks and savings programmes.
*Support strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Requirements:
*Strong Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant experience.
*Previous local authority/public sector experience highly desirable.
*Excellent budgeting, forecasting and stakeholder-management skills.
*Qualified accountant or significant equivalent experience.
