*Locum/FTC Solicitor requirement in residential conveyancing team of national well regarded multi office law firm.
*Maternity cover required to start mid October 2026.
*On site working mainly required (some flex for remote).
*4 or 5 days per week working hours required.
*Caseload - Usual residential conveyancing transactions.
Our client, a well regarded national law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to assist with a maternity leave on site in one of their offices on the outskirts of Birmingham.
Position Overview
The Residential Conveyancer will play a crucial role in assisting the firm through a maternity period. The role is to start mid to end Oct 2026 ideally, and ideally will last for one year, although a minimum commitment of 6 months would suffice in the first instance. The requirement is mostly on site.
Responsibilities
*Manage the usual caseload of residential property law matters.
*Communicate effectively with clients, agents, and stakeholders.
*Ensure timely completion of legal documentation.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records.
*Work well within a team.
Requirements
*Minimum 4 years’ PQE as a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer in Residential Property Law (unable to accept Conveyancers qualified by experience).
*Strong organisational and time management skills.
*Excellent communication and client service abilities.
