Reed Business Support is delighted to be recruiting a Supply Chain Logistics Analyst for a well-established Hartlepool-based client. Reporting to the Procurement Director, this role will focus on analysing stock levels, market pricing, and supply chain performance to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
*Analyse stock positions, contracts, and market trends.
*Complete stock reconciliations across multiple locations.
*Support month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
*Produce management information and performance reports.
*Make commercial recommendations to improve profitability and reduce costs.
*Support procurement best practices and identify purchasing savings opportunities.
Requirements:
*Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
*Commercially minded with strong problem-solving abilities.
*Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is advantageous.
*CIPS Level 3+, AAT Level 4+, or equivalent qualification desirable.
*Previous Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or Stock Control experience preferred.
