I’m currently recruiting for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Peterborough.
This is a hands-on maintenance role where you’ll be responsible for keeping production machinery and equipment running reliably, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance and helping minimise downtime across the site.
The Role*Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery

*Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults

*Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, motors, drives and control systems

*Complete preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns

*Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime

*Work closely with production and engineering teams

*Support continuous improvement and reliability projects

*Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and to site standards

About You*Electrical bias maintenance background

*Ideally Level 3 Electrical / Engineering qualification

*Previous experience working within FMCG, food, packaging or a similar high-volume manufacturing environment

*Strong fault-finding ability

*Comfortable working on both electrical and mechanical equipment

*Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, inverters/drives etc.

*Happy working a rotating 3-shift pattern
