Salary: £28,000 per annum
Join a growing warehouse and distribution business as a Warehouse Operative. This role is perfect for someone with experience in warehousing, picking and packing, stock control, or goods-in/goods-out operations who enjoys working within a fast-paced and supportive team environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Picking customer orders accurately using picking sheets or handheld scanners.
*Packing products safely and securely to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
*Receiving, checking and putting away incoming deliveries.
*Carrying out stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
*Ensuring orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
*Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
*Following company health and safety procedures at all times.
*Supporting colleagues across different warehouse functions as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience within a warehouse, stores, distribution or fulfilment environment.
*Experience of picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
*Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
*Reliable, punctual and dependable approach to work.
*Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
*Basic IT skills and experience using warehouse systems would be advantageous.
*Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support colleagues.
