Full job descriptionAvencia are partnered with a well-established insurer who are looking to recruit an Underwriter in their Warranty & Indemnity team.
The team work across UK and European transactions, writing primary and excess business across a varied portfolio.
The team’s flat structure and busy portfolio offer plenty of deal exposure, with the opportunity to take ownership early and learn from experienced underwriters.
The Role
*Review submissions and draft NBIs.
*Review due diligence reports and prepare underwriting questions.
*Work on live deals from submission through to policy placement.
*Build broker relationships and support portfolio growth.
Skills & Experience
*Practical W&I experience in underwriting or broking.
*A good understanding of how W&I deals are placed.
*Experience working with submissions and NBIs.
*Strong communication skills and confidence managing competing deadlines.
