Full job descriptionWe are looking for an Ocean Freight Specialist in the Purfleet Thurrock area


Key Responsibilities *Manage end-to-end ocean freight import and export shipments.
*Coordinate Full Container Load (FCL) movements.
*Manage cross-trade shipments
*Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation.
*Ensure shipments are processed accurately and within required deadlines.
*Handle customs entries and ensure compliance with relevant customs requirements.
Skills & Experience *Previous experience within ocean freight / sea freight forwarding.
*knowledge of import and export procedures.
*Proven experience with FCL shipments.
*Experience managing cross-trade freight.
*Good understanding of customs procedures and documentation.
*Experience using freight forwarding and customs systems, ideally one of the following: *Destin8
*CargoWise
*e-Customs
*NES

*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
