Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire (with travel to client sites)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent


We are recruiting for a growing Managed Service Provider looking for a IT Field Engineer to join their team.
This is a hands-on role for someone with an interest in IT and networking who wants to develop their skills and gain experience working alongside experienced engineers.
The Role
*Assist with IT and network installations at customer sites
*Help engineers install and configure routers, switches and other network equipment
*Assist with cabling, hardware and general infrastructure projects
*Provide basic troubleshooting across Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365 and Hyper-V
*Support engineers with customer projects, site visits and infrastructure maintenance
*Gain hands-on experience across networking, servers, cloud and IT infrastructure
*Learn and develop your technical skills alongside experienced engineers
About You
*Some IT experience, education or relevant qualifications
*A genuine interest in networking and IT
*Basic understanding of networking concepts
*Keen to learn and develop
*Good communication and problem-solving skills
*Comfortable working on customer sites
*Full UK driving licence
You don’t need to be experienced in configuring routers and switches - training and support will be provided. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude who is keen to build a career in networking.
