Location: Milton Keynes
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:40pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person
Newstaff MK are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in Milton Keynes.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and happy working both independently and as part of a team. The role involves picking, packing and rework, including some heavy lifting.
The Role
Your duties will include:
*Picking and packing orders for overseas customers
*Reading and accurately following information on pick notes
*Using a PC to input and update information
*Picking customer orders for rework
*Re-labelling items accurately
*Repacking products ready for dispatch
*Checking labels and product information carefully
*Carrying out general warehouse duties
*Some heavy lifting will be involved
About You
The successful candidate will:
*Have excellent attention to detail, particularly when re-labelling items
*Be comfortable using a PC and entering information accurately
*Be able to follow written instructions and pick notes
*Be reliable and punctual
*Have a good work ethic and a positive attitude
*Be happy working on your own as well as part of a team
*Be comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks and rework duties
*Have your own safety boots and high-visibility vest
*Be available to work Monday to Friday, with no weekend work
