We are recruiting for an experienced Service Charge Officer to join a busy finance team in Leicester. This is a full-time hybrid role, combining home working with office and property visits.
Key Responsibilities*Prepare year-end service charge statements and annual budgets.

*Validate service charge actuals and investigate variances.

*Review costs, invoice coding, accruals and prepayments.

*Manage a portfolio of schemes and respond to service charge queries.

*Liaise with residents, internal teams, auditors and external stakeholders.

*Ensure charges are accurate, transparent and provide value for money.

*Support year-end adjustments and customer communications.

*Ensure compliance with relevant service charge legislation and regulations.

About YouThe ideal candidate will have:
*Experience in a service charge finance role, ideally within housing or property.

*Knowledge of service charge legislation.

*Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.

*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

*Experience working to tight deadlines in a regulated environment.

*Strong communication and customer service skills.

*AAT qualification/study towards AAT is desirable, but qualified by exp
