Major Recruitment is recruiting a CAD / REVIT Engineer for an established, growing engineering business specialising in ventilation, air conditioning and HVAC services.

This is an opportunity for a CAD / REVIT Engineer to produce detailed ductwork and air conditioning drawings, carry out site surveys and support project coordination.

The role
As a CAD / REVIT Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
*Producing accurate working drawings for production and installation.
*Designing and detailing ductwork and air conditioning systems.
*Carrying out site surveys, gathering information and coordinating system routes.
*Producing take-offs for estimating and assisting with estimates.
*Preparing bills of materials.
*Checking completed drawings and incorporating equipment details accurately.
*Maintaining schedules for issued and received drawings.
*Providing drawing time information to support project scheduling.
*Copying and printing drawings as required.
*Developing your skills through training in additional CAD packages.

About you
The successful CAD / REVIT Engineer will have:
*Experience using AutoCAD and Revit, ideally supported by relevant qualifications.
*Strong attention to detail and a conscientious approach to drawing accuracy.
*Good IT, organisation and time management skills.
*GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
*A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Ideally, three years’ experience in a similar position, although this is advantageous rather than essential.
