LSA and Behaviour Mentor – Enfield
Location: Enfield
Contract: Full-Time
Pay: £90-£100 per day
Start: ASAP / Immediate Start Available
We are recruiting a dedicated LSA and Behaviour Mentor to join an independent secondary school for students aged 11 to 19 who will thrive in a small, therapeutic, and nurturing environment. This specialist setting supports young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing a tailored and highly supportive approach to learning.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide individualised support to students with SEMH needs, helping them engage positively in lessons and daily routines.
*Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to maintain a calm, structured, and safe learning environment.
*Implement behaviour and emotional regulation strategies in line with student support plans.
*Encourage the development of social skills, emotional resilience, and confidence.
*Support students in overcoming barriers to learning through consistent, empathetic guidance.
Applicant Suitability
*Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is highly advantageous.
*Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
*Ability to build trusting and supportive relationships with students.
*Resilience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for helping vulnerable young people succeed.
