Full job description
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join a busy delivery team. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely, completing deliveries efficiently and providing a professional service to customers.
Your responsibilities*Complete deliveries and collections according to the daily schedule.
*Carry out vehicle checks before each shift and report any faults promptly.
*Ensure loads are secure and goods are handled carefully.
*Assist with loading and unloading where required, following safe working procedures.
*Accurately complete delivery paperwork and obtain proof of delivery (POD).
*Keep the transport team informed of delays or delivery issues.
*Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph and road safety requirements.
*Maintain a clean vehicle and represent the company professionally.
What we are looking for*A valid Category C driving licence.
*A current Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
*Previous Class 2 delivery experience.
*Experience completing and managing proof of delivery (POD) records is essential.
*A safe and responsible approach to driving.
*Good organisation and communication skills.
*A polite, helpful manner when dealing with customers.
