Our client is seeking an HR Advisor for a four-month contract assignment based full time in the office in Cheltenham. This role will provide professional HR support across the business, advising managers and employees on a broad range of people-related matters and helping to ensure effective, consistent HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:*Providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
*Supporting employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
*Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and employment documentation
*Managing and maintaining accurate HR records and confidential personnel information
*Supporting the implementation and consistent application of HR policies and procedures
*Advising on absence management, performance matters and employee wellbeing
*Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvements in people processes
*Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver an effective HR service
Job Requirements:*Experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role
*Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice
*Experience supporting employee relations cases and providing sound HR advice
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
*High levels of discretion when handling confidential information
*Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities
*Ability to work full time from the office in Cheltenham throughout the contract
