Full job descriptionCareer Paraplanner/Trainee Paraplanner
£30,000 to 39,000 (DOE) Office Based | 1 Day Working from Home | Flexi-Time Available
A highly respected and growing Financial Planning firm is seeking a Career Paraplanner to join its established team.
This opportunity is ideal for a Paraplanner who genuinely enjoys the technical side of financial planning and sees paraplanning as a long-term career, rather than simply a route into advising. The firm is happy to consider both experienced Paraplanners and those who are earlier in their qualification journey, provided they have existing paraplanning experience and a desire to develop within the role.
The Role
Working closely with Financial Advisers, you will provide technical support across a broad range of financial planning cases, helping to deliver high-quality advice and client outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
*Analysing client fact-finds and financial information
*Conducting research on pensions, investments and protection solutions
*Preparing high-quality suitability reports
*Researching providers, platforms and investment solutions
*Supporting advisers with recommendation development
*Undertaking technical analysis and due diligence
*Liaising with compliance teams to ensure regulatory standards are met
*Working alongside administrators throughout the advice process
*Assisting with the implementation of new business
*Maintaining technical and regulatory knowledge through ongoing CPD
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
*Previous paraplanning experience within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management firm
*Progress towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, or already qualified
*Strong report writing and technical research skills
*Excellent attention to detail
*A good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
*Strong communication and organisational skills
Most importantly, you will value the paraplanning profession and be looking to build a long-term career within a technical role. The business has a strong advisory team in place and is looking for someone who is happy to continue developing as a Paraplanner over the next few years rather than seeking an immediate move into advice.
What’s on Offer?
*Competitive salary and benefits package
*Pension scheme
*Private healthcare
*1 day per week working from home
*Flexi-time scheme
*Ongoing study support and professional development
*Friendly and collaborative team environment
*Long-term career stability within a growing business
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful financial planning firm that genuinely values its Paraplanners and provides the support, flexibility and career progression needed to build a rewarding long-term future.
