We are seeking a motivated Graduate Analyst for a 6-month contract opportunity with a leading investment banking client. This role would suit an individual who has completed a relevant internship within financial services, investment banking, asset management, or a fund administration environment and is looking to build on their experience within a fast-paced markets operation.


The successful candidate will have previous exposure to Middle Office, Trade Support, Investment Operations, Fund Administration, Settlements, Reconciliations, Client Services, or a similar operational function. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work with large volumes of data are essential.


Key Responsibilities:
*Supporting day-to-day middle office and operational activities
*Trade lifecycle monitoring and exception management
*Investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks
*Working closely with Front Office, Risk, Operations and external counterparties
*Assisting with reporting, data analysis and process improvement initiatives
*Maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to controls


Requirements:
*Degree educated (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business or similar)
*Prior internship or placement experience within an investment bank, asset manager, fund administrator, custodian bank or financial services firm
*Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
