Full job descriptionThe Role
As the Senior Procurement Lead, you will take ownership of a portfolio of spend categories, managing end-to-end procurement activity and supporting the delivery of group wide procurement objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing sourcing activities, supplier selection and contract negotiations across allocated categories.
*Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
*Leading supplier performance reviews and identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
*Delivering cost savings, commercial improvements and risk mitigation initiatives.
*Supporting supplier governance activities including compliance, ESG and supplier risk management.
*Working collaboratively with operational teams to ensure supply continuity and service excellence.
*Identifying opportunities to consolidate spend and improve procurement processes across the wider business.
*Escalating strategic negotiations and key commercial decisions where appropriate.

About You
The successful Senior Procurement lead will be/have:
*Significant procurement experience within a fast-paced commercial environment.
*Strong supplier negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
*Experience managing procurement projects from sourcing through to contract award and supplier management.
*The ability to build credibility with both internal and external stakeholders.
*A proactive, hands on approach and willingness to work as part of a collaborative team.
*Experience within facilities management, business services or other service led sectors would be advantageous.
*Candidates from wider commercial, industrial, manufacturing or public-sector procurement backgrounds will also be considered.
