Employment Lawyer - Local Authority
West Yorkshire | 6-Month Locum Contract | £50-£65 per hour | Hybrid/Remote
CRA Consulting are currently working with a local authority based in West Yorkshire who are looking to appoint an experienced Employment Lawyer on a 6-month locum contract.
The successful candidate will join an established legal team, providing advice across a varied employment caseload and supporting the Council on a range of employment matters.
The Role:
*Providing legal advice across a range of employment law matters
*Managing a varied caseload from instruction through to resolution
*Advising on contentious and non-contentious employment issues
*Working closely with HR teams and senior stakeholders
*Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice

The Ideal Candidate:
*Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with relevant employment law experience
*Local authority experience is desirable but not essential
*Strong knowledge of employment legislation and case law
*Able to manage a caseload independently
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
