The Supply Register is proud to be working alongside Merefield School in Southport, who are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their school immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with relevant experience who is passionate about supporting children with their learning, development and wellbeing.
As a Teaching Assistant at Merefield School, you will play an important role within the classroom, supporting teachers and pupils to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
? The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting teachers with the delivery of lessons

*Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils

*Supporting pupils with their reading, writing and numeracy

*Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and social skills

*Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required

*Helping to manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment

*Encouraging pupils to remain engaged and focused on their learning

*Supporting pupils with their day-to-day learning and development

*Working closely with teachers and other school staff

*Building positive and supportive relationships with pupils
