This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to take ownership of financial operations, lead a small team, and work closely with senior leadership. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational efficiency across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
*Oversee the day-to-day management of the finance function.
*Lead, support and develop a small finance team.
*Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and governance requirements.
*Manage client and office accounts, reconciliations and financial reporting.
*Support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting activities.
*Assist with year-end processes, statutory accounts preparation and external audits.
*Monitor financial systems and controls, identifying opportunities for improvement.
*Manage monthly payroll processes and liaise with HR colleagues.
*Work closely with senior stakeholders on financial and operational matters.
*Manage supplier relationships and key service contracts.
*Promote strong financial discipline and ensure deadlines are consistently achieved.
About You
*Strong understanding and application of SRA Accounts Rules and legal cashiering procedures.
