Full job descriptionAn accountancy firm in Loughborough, who are established but also modern in approach and work methods, are looking to hire a key job opportunity. They are keen to hire a Personal Tax Professional, but can be flexible on the level they hire at, with anything from Semi-Senior to Senior grade being considered.
The role is open to both part-time and full-time applicants.


This job will ideally include the following duties:
*Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment tax returns for a varied portfolio of individuals, sole traders and company directors.
*Managing personal tax deadlines and ensuring all returns are completed accurately and on time.
*Preparing and submitting Companies House Confirmation Statements for a portfolio of limited companies.
*Assisting with the preparation and submission of Corporation Tax returns.
*Supporting the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
*Liaising directly with clients to obtain information, answer queries and resolve outstanding matters.
*Working closely with the wider accounts and tax team to ensure client deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
*Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring work is completed in accordance with relevant tax and accounting legislation.
*Building strong, long-term client relationships and providing a professional and proactive service.
*Supporting the wider practice with ad-hoc accounts and tax work as required.
