Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:30pm
Contract: Long-Term

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Maidstone on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be happy to teach either Year 1 or Year 3, depending on the school’s needs, and will be committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupils’ academic and personal development.
The Role
*Full-time position, Monday to Friday
*Teaching either Year 1 or Year 3
*Planning, preparation, and marking required
*Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
*Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching in a primary school setting
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*Confident delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum
*A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Ability to commit to a long-term role
