A recruitment agency is looking for a capable and meticulous Accountant to join their Finance team. This is an exciting role for someone with prior experience in a recruitment business.
What you’ll do:
*Posting and reconciling: sales and purchase ledgers, bank recs and control accounts
*Supporting the preparation and checking of both payroll runs
*Supporting the Finance Manager with drawdowns and reconciliation
*Supporting month-end: journals, accruals, prepayments and the management accounts
What you’ll need:
*2+ years experience in a recruitment or freelance contract business
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*A good grasp of recruitment cycle (timesheets, billing, contractor payroll, margins)
*Good working knowledge of Excel/spreadsheets and Xero
*Accurate and organised under pressure
