Job Description:
Full job descriptionYour Company:
Are you someone who naturally enjoys talking to people, writing, solving problems and making things easier for others? You might not have worked in an office before - and that’s absolutely fine.

NET Recruit is working with a growing consumer lending organisation in Southampton that is looking for Customer Support Executive with the right attitude, personality and communication skills to join its customer experience team. This could be a great first step into an office-based career for someone who has a natural flair for customer service and communication. Perhaps you’ve worked in retail, hospitality, a contact centre, administration or another people-focused role, or you’re a recent graduate looking for your first professional position. The key thing is that you’re confident communicating with people, enjoy writing, are comfortable using technology and genuinely care about giving people a good experience. Full training will be provided, so you don’t need previous experience in financial services.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties may include but may not be limited to:
*Communicating with customers and third parties across a range of digital channels, including email, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, SMS and live chat.
*Supporting customers throughout the loan application process and helping applicants understand required documentation and submission stages.
*Managing open loan accounts, including assisting with payments, identifying account queries and helping to find appropriate solutions.
*Providing clear, personalised and empathetic support based on individual customer circumstances.
*Managing customer inboxes and completing a variety of administrative requests accurately and efficiently.
*Supporting customers with loan management and repayment queries, ensuring information is communicated clearly and professionally.
*Identifying potential signs of customer vulnerability and responding appropriately in line with internal procedures.
*Recognising potential indicators of fraud and escalating concerns where required.
*Keeping customer information and records accurate and up to date across internal systems.
*Working closely with colleagues across the wider team to ensure customers receive a consistent and high-quality service.
*Managing a varied workload while maintaining accuracy, professionalism and attention to detail.
*Contributing positively to the wider team and supporting colleagues in a fast-paced, technology-focused environment.
What You Will Need to Apply:
*Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally and empathetically.
*Good organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage information accurately and stay on top of multiple tasks.
*A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a genuine willingness to learn and develop.
*Good computer literacy and confidence using different systems, software and digital platforms.
*The ability to learn new systems and technology quickly.
*Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to completing tasks.
*The ability to manage your workload, prioritise effectively and work to deadlines.
*A customer-focused mindset and an interest in helping people find solutions.
*The confidence to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
*A calm and considered approach when dealing with customers who may require additional assistance or understanding.
What You Will Get in Return:
You will receive full training and ongoing support to develop your knowledge and confidence within the role, alongside the opportunity to build a long-term career within a growing and technology-focused organisation.
The role offers a salary in a range of £26,500-£30,000 with the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus based on individual performance and overall business performance. You will also receive 22 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service up to a maximum of 25 days.
The organisation provides a comprehensive benefits package including life insurance at four times basic salary, family dental cover, income protection providing 75% of income in qualifying circumstances, enhanced pension contributions through salary sacrifice, Cycle to Work, Perkbox discounts, free GP and counselling support, an employee assistance programme and generous family-friendly policies.
If you are looking for a role where you can learn, develop your skills and build a genuine career, whether you are an experienced administrator, customer service professional or recent graduate, we would love to hear from you.
