The Supply Register is proud to be working alongside Wade Deacon Academy, who are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their school.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or someone with relevant classroom experience who is passionate about supporting students and maintaining a positive learning environment.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role within the school, supervising classes in the absence of the usual teacher and ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning.
? The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
*Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher

*Delivering pre-prepared lessons and work set by teaching staff

*Ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning

*Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

*Supporting students with their classwork where appropriate

*Maintaining a positive, safe and productive learning environment

*Taking registers and following school procedures

*Providing support to students across a range of subjects

*Encouraging students to work independently

*Reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate member of staff

*Working closely with teachers and other school staff

*Following safeguarding and school policies at all times
