Full job descriptionAlma Personnel are pleased to announce we are currently working with our Birmingham based client to recruit for a NIGHT SHIFT Transport Supervisor on a full time, permanent basis.
The hours of work are 12am-9am.
The main duties of a Transport Supervisor:-
*Managing people and assets for the overnight inbound trunking process
*Managing the picking and loading of morning C&D vehicles
*Importing XPO files
*Planning trailers
*Creating pick sheets
*Allocating resources
*Ensuring all freight is scanned correctly, both in and out of the site
*Supporting the team
*Liaising with internal teams and stakeholders
*Carrying out periodic training
*Covering for the shift manager if needed
Required Experience:-
*You MUST have a Counterbalance FLT License
*Experience within a Transport Supervisor position
*Good IT skills
*Understanding of Transport Management Systems
*You MUST have knowledge of Health and Safety and take it seriously
