Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are working with a leading organisation within the Lloyd’s and London insurance market that is looking to recruit an experienced BI/SQL Developer on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
You will be tasked with the following:
*A good understanding of the SQL Server stack, including SSRS, SSIS and preferably SQL Azure. With a minimum of five years’ experience working as a developer.
*A good TSQL knowledge is essential. C#, SharePoint or other programming languages is an advantage, as is experience working with APIs.
*Strong analytical and documentation skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
*Excellent Microsoft Office skills especially Excel. A good knowledge of SharePoint and / or web development would be an advantage.
*Some experience within an Insurance or Financial Services environment would be an advantage, but not essential. Experience working in a LIVE environment is also desirable.
This is a hybrid opportunity, you will be expected to attend the office 2-3 days per week.
