A leading education recruitment agency is currently looking for 2 experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a welcoming primary school in Aveley.
The successful candidates will work within a Year 1 classroom, supporting pupils with high levels of SEND, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and speech and language difficulties, while also providing general classroom support.
The Role
As an LSA, you will:
*Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.

*Support children with ASD and speech and language difficulties.

*Help pupils access learning and participate positively in classroom activities.

*Provide general classroom support to the teacher and wider class.

*Assist with pupils’ social, emotional and educational development.

*Help create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates who are:
*Experienced in working with children in a primary school setting.

*Confident supporting pupils with SEND, including ASD.

*Experienced or confident supporting children with speech and language difficulties.

*Reliable, patient and nurturing.

*Able to build positive relationships with children.

*Confident working as part of a wider classroom team.

*Available for a long-term role.
