Full job descriptionTemporary Teaching Assistant - Doddiscombsleigh Primary School (United Schools’ Learning Partnership)*Devon
*Part Time
*£13.48 - £13.70 per hour
This post is 10 hours per weekWednesday and Thursday pm, Friday 9.00am - 3.30pm.Doddiscombsleigh Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, talented, resilient and committed person to encourage, motivate and support children in school. School work is rewarding and satisfying with no two days the same. You will ultimately be part of a team ensuring a safe and happy learning environment for all children.
This post is Fixed Term to the end of the Summer term 2026. You will be required to work 1:1 with children in KS2 and also include lunchtime cover on a Friday.
You will work under direct supervision of the teacher to support access to learning.
You will need:*To be calm but firm and enjoy working with children
*A minimum qualification at GCSE Maths and English.
*Experience of working in a classroom situation or a qualification as a Teaching Assistant
*Have good, courteous communication skills
