Full job descriptionWe are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager for a 6-week industrial strip-out and roofing project in Carlisle, starting Monday 19th October.


Key Responsibilities:
*Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site
*Coordinate and manage subcontractors and site operatives
*Plan and coordinate strip-out and roofing activities
*Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the programme
*Maintain high standards of health & safety across the site
*Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
*Review RAMS and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved methods
*Maintain accurate site records, diaries and progress reports
*Monitor quality and ensure works meet the required standards
*Liaise with the project team, subcontractors and client representatives
*Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays to the programme
*Manage site logistics, deliveries and housekeeping
Requirements:
*SMSTS
*CSCS
*First Aid
*Fire Marshal
*Asbestos Awareness
*Good IT skills, including the ability to complete site documentation and reporting electronically
*Strong knowledge of construction health & safety
*Previous Site Manager experience, ideally on industrial, strip-out, refurbishment or roofing projects
