Full job descriptionWe are looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join our Client in their established and growing Accountancy Practice. This is a great opportunity for an experienced practice professional to join a sociable and hardworking team within a modern working environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:*Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
*Preparing and reviewing quarterly VAT returns
*Assisting with corporation tax computations and returns
*Preparing self-assessment tax returns
*Supporting clients with their day-to-day accounting requirements
*Assisting with the development and improvement of financial processes
*Keeping up to date with accounting regulations and best practice
*Building strong relationships with clients and providing a high level of service

What We’re Looking For:*Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
*Experience preparing accounts for a range of clients
*Good knowledge of accounting and financial reporting processes
*Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or similar
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
*Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*AAT, or working towards a relevant accountancy qualification, would be advantageous
