FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a fast-growing customer support business with the recruitment of a Claims Manager.
Permanent, full-time position based in Altrincham.
This is a client-focused role supporting predominantly older customers through Attendance Allowance claims. You will speak with clients about their health, personal circumstances and day-to-day care needs, then turn those conversations into clear, detailed and accurate claims.
Salary
Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits
Key Responsibilities
*Manage claims from initial client interview through to completion
*Conduct structured telephone appointments with clients, typically lasting 30–60 minutes
*Discuss medical conditions, symptoms, treatment and day-to-day care requirements
*Ask detailed follow-up questions to fully understand each client’s circumstances
*Identify important information that may otherwise be overlooked
*Prepare accurate, detailed and professionally written claims
*Maintain high standards of spelling, grammar and written communication
*Keep accurate client records and case notes
*Manage a busy caseload and ensure claims progress efficiently
*Work closely with the wider team to maintain excellent customer service
Skills & Experience
*Compassionate, patient and confident speaking with older customers
*Excellent listening and communication skills
*Strong written English with excellent attention to detail
*Comfortable discussing sensitive health and personal care matters
*Able to understand and process detailed medical information
*Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases
*Previous Attendance Allowance experience is not required as full training will be provided
*Experience within healthcare, nursing, social care, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, medical administration, case management, legal services or support work would be advantageous
*A medical or healthcare background would be particularly beneficial
