Full job descriptionForklift / Flexi Driver
Location: Chelmsford
Rate: £28,000 - £30,000
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 070.00am – 16.00pm And Fridays 7am – 14.00pm
Start Date: ASAP
Your Role:
*Safe loading and unloading of contracted transport vehicles or customer vehicles.
• Checking pallets and stock is received in good condition.
*Reporting issues with line manager.
• Storage, and retrieval, and general movement of stock within the warehouse.
• Preparation of customer orders before shipping.
• Locating goods inward in the racking, recording locations and checking stock regularly.
• Collecting and delivering parts for the assembly team.
• Wrapping and restocking newly assembled parts.
• When necessary supporting the assembly and returns team with their work.
• Keeping the warehouse, and yards clean and tidy.
• Separation of metals and other materials for recycling.
• Daily health check of forklifts prior to work commencing, recording all the findings in the maintenance logs and advising line manager of potential issues.
• Processing orders to be despatched via the UPS system.
Company Benefits
*25 days holiday per annum (usually about 3 of these have to be used over the Christmas shutdown period)
*Potential to earn 1 month’s additional salary, as a KPI based bonus

*Hours are Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm and Fridays 7am – 2pm
