Full job descriptionCatch 22 are recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager to join a well-established healthcare facility in Edinburgh on a temporary ongoing basis.
This is a unique opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a nationally recognised charity that makes a genuine difference to people’s lives every day.
Leading all aspects of facilities operations, you’ll oversee maintenance, housekeeping, catering, compliance and contractor management, ensuring a safe, efficient and welcoming environment across the hospice. You’ll also play an important role within the wider leadership team.
Key responsibilities:
*Leading facilities, maintenance and support service teams
*Managing health & safety, compliance and risk management
*Overseeing contractors, projects and service delivery
*Managing budgets and operational performance
*Driving improvements across the estate and facilities services
*Supporting business continuity and regulatory compliance
About you:
*Senior facilities management experience
*Strong compliance and health & safety knowledge
*Experience managing teams, budgets and contractors
*NEBOSH qualified or equivalent
*Excellent communication and leadership skills
*A hands-on and solutions-focused approach
*Able to start immediately and happy working on a temporary on going basis
*Must be able to drive
This is a temporary role that offers a salary of around £62,000 per annum and the chance to join a respected and purpose-led organisation where your work will have a real impact, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position in the future.
