Full job descriptionRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Avaloq Developer with 8+ years of overall IT experience to work on banking technology projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Avaloq development, configuration, scripting, customization and integration, along with a solid understanding of banking and financial services.
Key Responsibilities*Design, develop, customize and enhance solutions on the Avaloq Banking Suite.
*Perform Avaloq configuration, scripting, development and customization activities.
*Develop and maintain integrations and interfaces between Avaloq and external banking systems.
*Analyse functional and technical requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
*Participate in development, SIT, UAT, deployment and production-support activities.
*Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root-cause analysis.
*Work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams and other technology teams.
*Prepare technical documentation and support release and deployment activities.
*Follow coding standards, development best practices and banking security requirements.
Required Skills*8+ years of overall IT experience.
*Strong hands-on experience in Avaloq development.
*Strong experience with the Avaloq Banking Suite.
*Hands-on experience with Avaloq scripting, configuration and customization.
*Experience delivering Avaloq implementation, enhancement or migration projects.
*Good SQL and database knowledge.
*Experience developing and supporting system integrations and interfaces.
*Strong understanding of banking and financial services.
*Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Experience*Experience with major UK/European banking environments.
*Experience across banking domains such as Payments, Deposits, Lending, Securities or Wealth Management.
*Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
*Exposure to production support and performance optimisation.
*Experience working on large-scale banking transformation or implementation programmes
