Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term
About the RoleLong Term Futures are working with a welcoming nursery in Walthamstow to recruit an experienced Early Years Practitioner for an immediate start.
The successful candidate will support children’s early learning and development, creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment. You will work closely with the nursery team to deliver stimulating activities, encourage independence and support children in reaching their developmental milestones.
Key responsibilities include:
*Supporting children’s learning through structured and play-based activities
*Delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
*Encouraging communication, social interaction and independence
*Observing and recording children’s progress and development
*Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and transitions
*Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
*Maintaining a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal CandidateThe nursery is looking for someone who:
*Has previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting - essential
*Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework
*Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification - desirable
*Is warm, enthusiastic and confident working with young children
*Is proactive, reliable and works well within a team
*Has strong communication and organisational skills
