Full job descriptionReed Practice is recruiting for an Outsourcing Semi Senior on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy firm based in Reading.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional looking to further develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice. Working as part of the firm’s expanding outsourcing team, you’ll support a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering management information and cloud accounting solutions that help businesses make informed financial decisions.
The Role
As an Outsourcing Semi Senior, you will:
*Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for a varied client portfolio
*Manage bookkeeping activities and ensure accurate financial records are maintained
*Prepare and submit VAT returns
*Assist clients with cloud accounting software and process improvements
*Support with financial reporting and management information requirements
*Build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted point of contact
*Work closely with senior team members to deliver an excellent client service
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
*Have experience within an outsourcing, management accounts, bookkeeping or cloud accounting role
*Have previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice
*Be confident using Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar accounting software
*Possess excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
*Enjoy building relationships with clients and providing a high level of service
*Be ACA or ACCA part-qualified, or interested in commencing professional studies
